Food Allergy Testing Methods

If you have arthritis, diarrhea, gas, constipation, headaches, fibromyalgia, muscle cramping, skin problems, exhaustion, menstrual discomfort, ADD, ear infections, chronic sinus infections, post nasal drip, eczema, asthma, muscle pain, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, hypoglycemia, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, or mood swings then consider going to a food allergist for food allergy testing. Amazing as it may sound eating foods that your body does not want creates imbalances in the body and symptoms of disease. Trust me, it is more effective to eliminate a couple of foods than to take medications, supplements, herbs, or homeopathics.

Common Food Allergy Testing Results

The most common foods to come up in the food allergy testing results are: milk and milk products, wheat and wheat products, corn and corn products, and refined white sugar. Other foods that are common to be indicated in food allergy testing results are soy, oranges, peanuts, pork, and chicken.

Food Allergy Testing Methods

There are many food allergy testing methods, including: elimination diet, medical blood test, muscle testing, and Applied Kinesiology. While all of these food allergy testing methods can yield you the results you need, they all require that you go to a healthcare practitioner. If you would like to be able to determine which foods you need to avoid why not asking your intuition (inner guidance, angels, guides)?

Food Allergy Testing Method: Inner Guidance

Your physical body is the vehicle through which your angels and guides communicate. As your body feels better, you feel more of your inner “yes” (expansive, empowering) and “no” (contractive, depleting) answers. It is these “yes” and “no” answers that lead you.

When I first started to feel my inner guidance I would practice following their instructions by going “adventuring”. When I had a spare hour or two I would get in my van and start down the road. My guides would indicate with “yes” and “no” answers which way to turn and when. They would lead me to interesting places and would even take me shopping! You must understand that shopping is definitely not my favorite activity, so any help was appreciated. For example, one time they lead me to the exact pair of shoes I needed, eliminating the time and frustration that I associate with trying on many pairs.

Would you like to feel your inner “yes” and “no”? Find a quiet, comfortable, and private place where you can sit and relax. Close your eyes and take four or five deep vreaths, filling both your abdomen and chest.

First, remember a time in your life when you felt like a “nothing”. We have all had this experience. Perhaps a scene will appear in front of your eyes, or perhaps some words such as “what are you getting so upset about”, “don’t be so ridiculous”, “would you stop crying, it’s driving me crazy”, or “you sure are stupid”. Wow! Notice how this makes your body feel! My energy contracts, my body feels smaller, I feel a lump in the pit of my stomach. This is my “no”.

Second, remember a time in your life when you know that you were the most beautiful creature on the planet (which you are), a time when you felt completely loved and safe. Imagine it. Notice how your body feels. My energy expands, my body feels larger and stronger. I feel like I could stand at the top of a mountain and I could stretch my arms over eternity. Wow! This is my “yes”.

Now you can use the inner “yes” and “no” answers to communicate with your inner guidance. Ask questions and pay attention to the feeling in your body. What answers are being communicated to you? Try asking the following food allergy questions:

  • Do you tell me to stop eating wheat and wheat products?
  • Do you tell me to stop eating milk and milk products?
  • Do you tell me to stop eating corn and corn products?
  • Do you tell me to stop eating refined white sugar?
  • Do you tell me to stop eating soy?
  • Do you tell me to stop eating peanuts?
  • Do you tell me to stop eating oranges?

Have fun with it and start listening to your body!
